You Can Join Victory Today

Membership DOES have it’s Privileges

We know that “a certain credit card company” would have you to believe it is the only group with privileges but truthfully, being a member of the Body of Christ (the Church) is the greatest membership that exists. The benefits are so extensive and far reaching that we can't even begin to list them.  You have to experience them for yourself...that why...

We Invite You to Become a Member...

To Our Victory Guests

1.      You may present yourself for membership during any Worship Service when the invitation is given at the end of the message.
Our Pastor will invite those who desire to know Jesus Christ as Lord or become a member of Victory Temple Church to indicate their desire by raising their hands or by some other means. You can also fill out the “Connect Card” found in your Bulletin and place it in the Offering Basket or give it to an Usher or Minister and someone will contact you personally.

  1. Membership occurrs through one of the following means:
    A Confession of Faith
If you have never received Jesus as Savior and Lord and/or never publicly confessed Him, you will be given an opportunity to do so by praying the prayer of Salvation.

Transfer of membership from another Methodist Church
If you are currently a member of another Methodist Church, we will receive you as a member upon promise of a letter from that church. You should contact that church to notify them of your decision and request your letter.

Statement of faith
If you have previously made a public decision, acknowledging that you have received Christ as your Savior and Lord, we will be happy to receive you. If you have never been baptized, we encourage you to be baptized at Victory, in obedience to the Word of God.

3.     Attend the 5-Steps to Victory class for new members.
This special orientation class for all new members will give you essential information to help you become a fulfilled, functioning member of our church. Charting out a plan for your first year at Victory, this class will show you how to begin building relationships in our church and will help you understand all the benefits and responsibilities of membership.

1-2-3 and you will be joyfully received as a member of VTCLC and begin to fully enjoy all the benefits and blessings of being a part of God’s family.

What you may expect from Victory Temple...
When you join Victory Temple CLC you also become part of the whole family of God united in a common faith. That family is called the church and the church is an assembly of believers. As a member you will receive, the Word of God through the sermon and the renewal of your faith through baptism. It is the place where you will receive the Grace of God through the breaking of bread on First Sunday’s and the Presence of God through worship. The members of Victory will provide a caring community that will sustain you and help you hold fast to your course. The church will be present to walk with you through the critical events of your family life. It will serve as the vehicle through which you can channel your witness and service to Christ.
